Recall, Recare

ANDREW

No-one knows better than you do that your dentures have everything to do with how you look and feel. Consequently, it’s important to maintain your dentures, ensuring that they perform at their best so that you do the same. Regular check-ups with your Denturist guarantee that you and your dentures receive the care and attention that you deserve.

Why is recare necessary?

Tissues and bone

Your mouth undergoes considerable changes over time, among which are tissue shrinkage and loss of underlying bone on which your dentures rest. The dentures won’t change, however, and they may no longer fit as they once did.

Oral cavity

Annual oral exams will prevent or detect the existence of oral cancer or other abnormal conditions.

Medical/dental history

Updating medical and dental history is critical to quality denture treatment.

Fit and bite your existing dentures

Denture that are worn out can cause the improper bite and fit that can lead to other problems. Your ability to bite and speak can also be changed, as well as your appearance.

Integrity of your dentures

Your Denturist will check for cracks, chips, scratches and worn or loose teeth.
